back to post! :) school was great. except for the never ending pile of homework each day. but friends were great :) I LOVE O9S02! ;] okay, so i shant elaborate in details for the lessons this week! thank god, my GP teacher isnt moses tan, haha. & we had to play this game. a game about GP, globalisation. & clarence was in my group he was like telling us lame ans =.= haha, damn funny. & my chinese teacher was pretty funny too, keep telling us stories & blah blah blah. & my classmates were some sort of muggers. they go to library to mug everday. okay, not exactly all, but ya. & pw was like super boring can. our ct was not here today, & a female teacher took over, lols. ohya, & i woke up at like 5.30am today to do my tutorials ): as i had band the day before, i reached home only at 9plus. after bathing & eating, it was 10plus already and i was like super tired & i fell asleeep. so i didnt ttouch my homework ): so gotta wake up early the next morning to do, haha. caleb had the same fate as me. his was worse, he reached home at 10pm! LOLS. hais, im having this cross-country thingy next wednesday. its something like sports day. & we have to run 3.2km! AHH. but its okay, we can skip lessons for a day! :) okay, so ya, sajc rocks luh. friends are so fun can ;D & my MSA is coming up! & its starts the day after my band concert!! i hope im able to cope then. & i'll have to practise hard for my concert too, since i joined the band not long ago. okay then! gotta run. having school + band tomorrow! :D Saturday, February 21, 2009 @ 7:26 AM
i guess i havent been posting for a week huh? lols sorry, i was real busy with JC life :) but it still rocks. so yeh, i have finally decided to join band. our syf is on 5th may & we're playing overture no.2 & el cam. both of them are fast songs eh. hope we can get gold with honours this time! ;] coz our sch band has been getting gold with honours for the past 2yrs. & the rest of the other years were gold :) ohya, & i will be like real busy with band as concert is on 8th march & syf is on 5th may! but its better to sacrifice my time in JC1 than in JC2, haha. okay, so back to last weeeeek. had a whole entire week of lectures. yesterday, i went for band after school & the seniors were great! after band ended in the evening, went to orchard with xuanying for dinner & buying of stuffs. reached home at around 11pm. ohwells, we have finally gotten our official time table! which means that from next week onwards, i will be studying with my class. & some letures though, haha. yay-ness! :) ok so today, woke up at 7.30am in the morning. went for band till 3pm & my dad fetched me homeeee! had sectionals & we sight read alot of pieces :) damn fun, the songs were much nicer than those i played in kranji (ops) but ksb songs were nice too :) & did i mention that all the people in my class have a raw L1R5 score of 10pts for o level? which is the same as me, ahh! so scary. all the people in michelle's class has a raw L1R5 score of 9pts for o level. o.o & my class has 3 ex-bppians, yay! yeh right, & my class has more guys than girls obviously. 10 girls & 16 guys. ohwells, wish me luck for next week's lessons! & i have band prac almost everyday except thur. but its fun though! :) and J1 band members will be going to australia in june for 9days. this trip will be heavily subsidies by the school as sajc has been getting gold/gold with hnours for syf! :) yay! cant wait, i guess i wont be going for the china trip alr ): haha. okay then, bye! hey guys! school was pretty fun. made more new friends ;] okay 2days ago had grooming check. & my mentor was super funny. once, while he was checking calvin's hair, a mentor from another class came over and asked my mentor:"Hey, whats the longest length that the guys' side burn be?" my mentor: "whats side burn?" the other mentor: "the one at the side of the guys' face.." my mentor: "Haiya, nvm luh, i just check their back hair length will do.." all of us: "LOLS!!" yesterday had a short day at school. there was an hour of assembly in the morning :D & many fell asleeep while they turned off the lights, showing us various videos. after that was GP ;] i think it will be a fun subject if one knows alot about the world news! after an hour of break, it was CHEMISTRY. ohwells, monday will be the release of the youth ambassador's selection namelist. after selection, we still have to go for an interview. hope i get selected & then i will have a chance to go to germany! & host the youth olympics next year :D school ended after chemistry! went back to kss band to visit sir & the juniors. well, nothing changed. but kinda miss band alot, haha.         & overture no. 1 was nice! but overture jubiloso is nicer! ;D ohya, happy valentines day everyone! i wana thank all those who gave me gifts! :D appreciate them loads. my school sold flowers & heart-shaped balloons today. & many bought. then right, during chemistry lecture in the CC, quite a number of balloons flew up into the ceiling. so wasted can!! there was once, 4 balloons that were tied together flew up into the ceiling. the person wasted $12 as one balloon cost $3. ahahaha! anyway, i shall now dedicate the rest of my post to this person:    i so damn miss you can. i miss sitting in class with you, with all those crappings and everything. hope you're doing fine in UK. okay, i know you are reading my blog. so ya, touched? ;] loveya. okokay, shall end my post here. eheeeee, cant wait for schoolie on monday >< okays, so ya. bye peops. OKAY, im beat. ohwells, just when i thought i could spend more time with my kranji besties in SA, they released the results of our classes on monday. yes, at 10am. & im in o9S02! none of the kranjians are in the same class as me ): i will be so damn lonely. but 2 of my friends are in there so thats better. but i will miss my kranji besties can ): though we are in the same school, but different class ): & my class has only 11 girls. pathetic huh? & xuanying's class has only 8 girls, haha. well, i guess my combi is popular among guys :D HOHOHO. okay, so mon was the first day of lecture. can you imagine the CC packed with 800+ students?everyone got a seat though. had H2 maths & H1 econs lecture today. they went pretty well, and intros were made these 2 subjects. whooooo, i think im gona lovee econs. i hope so. coz its about the world and everything, seems interesting! ;] we had breaks here and there & most of us went to buy our lecture notes, making the photocopy shop super packed. furthermore, the bookstore is not any ordinary photocopy shop. the room is so damn small with only 1 door. & everyone has to sqeeeeze in. can you imagine 100+ people crowding around there?! its horrendous im telling you, haha. tuesday chem and maths lectures. ohya! &i bought my school uniform ler. damn nice :) & alot of us ponned the library talk, haha. today had CCA talks today. i also had phy and econs lectures. afterwhich was the signing up for CCA! & im still undecided on which CCA to join. but me, xuanying and michelle signed up for quite a number of CCAs. we can reject some of them after 1/2 prac if we dont like them. i signed up for ODAC, band, dance, youth ambassador and interact club. haha, youth ambassador is a new CCA! & we get to go germany & get to host/invite players from germany and south africa to singapore for the youth olympic next year! :) during chi lesson, our cher introduce this immersion trip to china! we are going to like 3 parts of china for 7days :D its something like an immersion/exchange programme kinda thing. sightseeing/shopping/visitng schools & visiting places of interest! :) & i signed up for it. since i didnt go for china exchange programme during sec sch life, i shall participate in this one! ;] okay, sorry for this wordy post yeh. hope you guys didnt strain your eyes on my post, haha. bye peops! WHOOOOO! I LOVE OG9! I LOVE SAJC! & NOT FORGETTING MY OGL, ZACHARY! ;D thankyou all student councillors. you all really plan ALOT for this week's orientation to make it the best one ever. & im telling you guys that this orientation is the BEST ONE EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! ;] seriously! :D Friday! wow, the finale was a BLAST im telling you! omg, i so damn love SA's mass dance can! beat it & shake it! its so damn damn damn FUN im telling yooooooooooooou! :D ITS THE BEST ONE EVER. WHOO! okay, so had games & kingdom gathering in the morning. then was mass dance at the gallery. danced to the song 'shake it'. its totally AWESOME! ;] then had 2hrs of lunch. the whole JC1s were dismissed but my OG decided to go to the 4th floor to play 'mushroom' :) as the canteeen will definitely be flooded with people! haha. then after awhile, the group of us went to the canteen & have lunch together. after lunch was preparation for the various competitions! we had identity, dance, games, candle mosse and cheering competitions! & argyrus won the cheeeering competition! YAY-NESS ;] then danced mass dance. & i was super HIGH at that time, haha! ITS LIKE DAMN FUN CAN ;] the culture centre was filled with laughters and cheering & the the atmosphere was good. then after everything ended, we had OG debrief. and at around 8plus, met up with xuanying and liying and went for dinner at toa payoh. then bused homeeee :) for the first 2 days of orientation, i dont really like SAJC's culture and had this weird feeling towards it. but now, after afew days of interaction, IM LOVING SAJC to bits! haha, ok i think im getting mroe and more exaggerating. Saturday! woke up quuite early to prepare for my piano lesson! then went homee and took afternoon nap. at around 5plus, met up with xinyi at cck control station and headed off to clarke quay for our OG dinner! im glad that almost all of us turned up, around 20plus people. went to manhattan fish market to eat :) food was damn nice. actually zachary wanted to treat all of us though the total bill amounted to $300++ but we refused and paid him the money back. throughout this 5days of orientation, he is like so damn nice to us can! & very enthu also! :D me, doreen and dewi left at around 9plus :) Thursday, February 05, 2009 @ 6:13 AM
YO! ;] ok so, i shall continue posting about my orientation in SAJC since there's nth else to post aboout, haha. Wednesday! STAGE GAMES was up first. its about taking up challenges shown on the screen. & there was once, the contestants have to eat up HALF a watermelon without using their hands! then it was Amazing race around Singapore. due to the lack of time, many OGs only completed 2 or 3 stations ): furthermore, we have to travel to different places of S'pore through public transport. So, my group's first stop was at city hall and second stop was at chinatown. wells, we had to complete some tasks at each stop, haha. Today! had senior meet junior session today. they were quite enthu and hyper actually :D it was argyrus challenge today! :) its about sending 1 representative from each OG to the hall to play games. once they win, we will be given a clue to a location in our sch where buttons are hidden. find them & complete our puzzle ;] then was mass games & mass dance & kingdom dance! haha, quite fun i should say. then for the mass games, we have to walk around the school and hunt for KNOTS! you guys must be wonderng whats that right? haha. ohwells, they are funny and weird stuffs that are in the wrong place. after everything ended, me and chelle waited super long for xuanying to arrive. then we headed for bugis! ;] then homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. haha, well! all POLY students, enjoy your holidays while you can! coz im having my respective lectures next week ): i think it was be like damn boring. hais, btw, my subject combi is PMCE ;] yeap, the most common one. HEYHEY ;D im back to post! well, SAJC's orientation programme always ends late, around eveing or so. & btw, im in OG9 and my kingdom is argyrus! ;] we rock ok. First Day! morning was ice-breakers & admin, yup. and made new friends from different schools around s'pore :) then we had this kingdom meeting to do our cheeeer and blah blah blah.then we had STAGE GAMES and MASS DANCE after that. after lunch was GAMES TIME! (Tawhiri's challenge) all the OGs went around different stations to challenge each other ;] then was mass dance and all of us went home after that. it was a pretty tired and it was slightly boring at the beginning but was ok after that >< Second Day! had STAGE GAMES first. it was like damn funny im telling yoou, haha. then had subject talk :) AHHH!! which 2 sci should i take?! phy & chem or chem & bio ?! hai! had another kingdom gathering and mass dance after that ;] then here comes the fun part :) FLOOOOOOD GAMES! games that will make us wet, wet, WET ! it was fun i should say. & i got wet at the first station already. what a start, haha. then end of day 2 after we having a debrief. ohya, and i just found out that one of last year's css contestant was in my schoool! its junjie if im not wrong, J1 this year. actually im not very sure whats his name though. hah! okay, so ya, pretty shack now. gona hit the sack early tonight. tml having amazing race around s'pore ;] HAHA, okay then! to all JC1 students, hope all of you are enjoying your orientation! ;D |
